Description
On the edge of the woods, the ghostly tree stood, A towering figure, of trouble and good. What are the tree's stories, as it lifts its arms high, Is it wanting the freedom, Of the cloud filled sky? It seems to me, many sorrows are told, within the gnarled branches and dark wooden folds. I feel one with the tree, tall and forlorn, As it whispers to the wind, "Let my soul be reborn."
